Welcome to Emmett's Store

Emmett's Store is the oldest artisan ham and bacon producer in the UK. Established in 1820 and still residing and operating from its original premises in Peasenhall, Suffolk.

This family business is famous for its Suffolk Black Ham and its Traditional Bacon which was recently featured on James Martin Saturday Morning Kitchen show and Felicity Cloake’s book Red Sauce Brown Sauce: A British Breakfast Odyssey!

Our famous black bacon is marinaded in black porter beer, molasses and natural brown sugar. The period of marinading and the subsequent smoking gives the bacon great flavour and depth.
